About us
The Science Office at the Embassy of Switzerland in Washington D.C. aims to strengthen cooperation and bilateral relations in education, research and innovation between Switzerland and the United States of America. The Science Office showcases Switzerland as a hub for excellent education and research and promotes the exchange of ideas with scientists and policy-makers. It also reports on developments in science and technology in the United States of America and consolidates contacts with local institutions as well as with the private sector. The Science Office also organizes various events in the fields of education, research and innovation.

Other representations in the U.S.
The Science Office of the Embassy of Switzerland in the United States of America is part of the swissnex network, an initiative of the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI). In addition to this policy-oriented office in Washington D.C., there are two Swiss science hubs in the U.S.:

- swissnex San Francisco
